Published on: June 25, 2015
Winder-Barrow Community Theatre is proud to announce the cast of the upcoming Children’s PLAYhouse production of “Holka Polka, A Fairytale Mystery” by D. M. Bocaz-Larson. The show will be presented on July 17 & 18th at 7:30 pm and on Sunday, July 19th at 3:00 pm. This fairy tale mystery will be an adventure where well known fairy tale characters have to solve a mystery. Come and bring your children, grandchildren, friends, and neighbors. The show is suitable for children and adults of all ages, and tickets are now on sale at the Winder Customer Care Center (770-867-3106 Prompt one for Event Ticket Sales) or at Pam Veader’s State Farm Insurance office at 41 S. Center Street in Winder (770-867-1679). Tickets are only $5.00 for children ages 12 and under. Ages 13 and older are $10.
After each show, the audience will be invited to a reception so that they can meet and greet the cast. The cast members, ages 5 to 15, will be happy to sign autographs, have pictures taken, and meet your child.
Part of the proceeds of this show will be presented to the Food2Kids program here in Barrow County. This program provides child friendly food for students who would go hungry on the weekends during the school year. There are over 200 children being served in this program each year, and there are others on the waiting list. If you would like to help hungry children in Barrow County, please consider bringing a donation. A donation jar will be available before the show and at the reception.
