WBCT Donates to Russell Middle School Band

Winder-Barrow Community Theatre recently presented a check for over $900 to the Russell Middle School Band Boosters to be used to send middle school band students to the summer Encore band camp. Elinor Hasty, the wife of John Hasty, the first band director at Russell Middle School, presented the check from the theatre group. She and Billie Nye-Muller were the directors of the show, "Wedding Belles", which was the 2014 fund raiser show for WBCT. All of the profit from this show was donated to several scholarship programs that Winder-Barrow Community Theatre supports.
