"Battle of Shallowford" Opens Friday, October 25th

Don’t miss the Winder-Barrow Community Theatre’s final show of the 2013 Main Stage Season. “Battle of Shallowford” opens on Friday night, October 25th and will run for two weekends. The Friday and Saturday shows start at 7:30 pm, and the Sunday matinees start at 3:00 pm. This comedy is based on the Orson Wells’ radio show known as “The War of the Worlds” and shows what might have happened during that event. Come out and join the fun. Part of the proceeds of this show will also be donated to the Winder Food Bank. If you would like to bring canned goods or money to donate, please feel free to do that.
Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased at the City of Winder Customer Care Center (770-867-3106) with credit card, cash or check. They can also be purchased at Pam Veader’s State Farm Insurance Office at 41 S. Center Street in Winder (770-867-1679) with cash or check. Tickets purchased in advance are only $10 for seniors (55 and older), students and teachers and $12.50 for adults. If purchased at the door, the tickets are $13 and $15.
2014 Season Tickets are also on sale now and can be purchased at both ticket locations. Senior/student/teacher Season Tickets are $40 and Adult tickets are $50. The Season Ticket includes the four Main Stage Shows and also a snack and drink in the concession stand for each of these shows. The shows included in the 2014 Season Ticket include “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” by William Shakespeare, “Stalag 17” by Donald Bevan & Edmund Trzcinski, the musical, “Anything Goes”, by Guy Bolton, P.G. Wodehouse, Howard Lindsay, Russell Crouse & Cole Porter, and “Thirteen Past Midnight” by Billy St. John.
