WBCT Announces the Cast of "Steel Magnolias"

Winder-Barrow Community Theatre is proud to announce the cast of “Steel Magnolias” by Robert Harling. This much loved story of six women and their lives in the south will be presented by Billie Nye-Muller (Director, Clairee), Kathy Blevins (M’Lynn), Jessica Brown (Shelby), Lynn Mulvey (Truvy), Léland Karas (Annelle) and Elinor Hasty (Ouiser). Delores Russell will be the Assistant Director/Stage Manager.

The show dates for “Steel Magnolias” are September 21, 22, 28 & 29 at 7:30 pm and September 23 & 30 at 3:00 pm. Tickets are a special price of $10 for everyone, and they are on sale now at Winder City Hall (770-867-3106) and Pam Veader’s State Farm Insurance Office (770-867-1679). Credit card orders must be done through Winder City Hall prior to the show dates.

This show is a special event and is a fund-raiser for two different projects involving children. Half of the profits will be used to fund scholarships for children to attend the WBCT Drama Camps during the summer, and the other half will be used to fund band scholarships for students at Russell Middle School through the John Hasty Memorial Band Scholarship.
